eSIM availability depends heavily on the country of purchase. Xiaomi phones purchased in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau generally DO NOT support eSIM, even if the model name is on the list below. Always use the *#06# method to confirm.

My phone is on the list, but I can’t find the eSIM menu.
If your model is listed but you don’t see the “eSIM” option under Settings > SIM cards & mobile networks, it is highly likely that your device is a regional variant (such as the Mainland China version) which has eSIM capabilities physically disabled at the factory level.
Does POCO series support eSIM?
Currently, POCO devices (including POCO F5, X6, etc.) do not officially support eSIM functionality. You will need a physical SIM card for these devices. We will update the list if Xiaomi adds support in future POCO releases.
Can I use a physical SIM and an eSIM at the same time?
Yes! Compatible Xiaomi phones support Dual SIM (nano-SIM + eSIM). You can keep your home physical SIM active for calls and SMS, while using our eSIM exclusively for international mobile data.
How many eSIM profiles can I store on my Xiaomi?
You can typically download and store multiple eSIM profiles on your device (often 5 or more). However, you can only have one eSIM profile actively connected to the network at a time.
