How do I install eSIM on MIUI/HyperOS?

Follow these simple steps on your Xiaomi device:

  1. Go to Settings > SIM cards & mobile networks.
  2. Toggle on eSIM.
  3. Tap on Manage eSIM > Add eSIM.
  4. Scan the QR Code sent to your email.
  5. Wait for the profile to download and select “Activate”.
Can I scan the QR code from my gallery?

Yes. In the “Add eSIM” scan screen, you can usually find a gallery icon to upload the QR code screenshot from your phone’s storage.

The eSIM is installed but there is no internet?

Please check the following on your Xiaomi settings:

  • Data Roaming: Must be turned ON.
  • Network Selection: Set to Automatic.
  • Preferred network type: Ensure it is set to 5G/LTE.
How to set APN manually on Xiaomi?

If internet is slow, go to: Settings > SIM cards > [Select eSIM] > Access Point Names > New APN. Enter the APN name provided in your activation email.
